Weatherford Presbyterian Church

Weatherford Presbyterian Church is an organized
mission congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America
(PCA). In faithfulness to Jesus' Great Commission we exist to
extend the transforming presence of His Kingdom to the
Weatherford, Texas area and to the world.

"To all who are spiritually weary and seek rest; to all who mourn
and long for comfort; to all who struggle and desire victory; to
all who sin and need a Savior; to all who are strangers and want
fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and
to all whomsoever will come - this church opens wide her doors
and offers welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ."

DENOMINATION
We are a mission church of the Presbyterian Church in America
(PCA), one of the fastest growing denominations in America. We
are God honoring, Christ centered and biblically directed in the
power of the Holy Spirit. There are numerous PCA churches
currently in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex with more on
the way. The Westminster Confession of Faith, including the
Larger and Shorter Catechisms, represent our confessional
doctrine.

OUR VISION
By God's grace we desire to be:

A Family for the Father
Where His people are mutually edified through God’s normal
means of grace: word, sacraments and prayer. As His family, we
seek to love one another as a result of receiving the love of
Jesus.

A Blessing to the Community
We seek to live out the gospel. As Jesus said, we are His
witnesses. The love of Jesus compels us to take the good news
of His redeeming love to the spiritually destitute; likewise, His
people have the Lord's heart to serve the needy through mercy
ministry.

A Place to Grow
Spiritual growth occurs as we offer ourselves as living sacrifices
to God. Through the teaching and application of the Word of God
we seek to be transformed by the renewing of our minds that
we, regardless of age, might grow in the knowledge and love of
Jesus. We seek to be informed worshipers of the triune God.

We are honored that you have

are a member congregation of the
Presbyterian Church in America,
the PCA. The PCA was formed to
be "faithful to the Scriptures, true
to the Reformed Faith, and
obedient to the Great
Commission."

Our congregation lives under
God’s word and for His glory. Our
very existence is by God's
sovereign grace. One of the
models used in the Bible to
describe the church is a family.
We are a godly church family that
seeks to equip her members to
join God as He builds His Kingdom.
He is working through us in the
city of Weatherford, Parker and
Tarrant Counties, and beyond.
